Roadmap

Customers define the roadmap

Our approach to product development is to give customers a voice. You submit a suggestion, everyone upvotes what matters to them, and we work on features in order of votes. No hidden priorities, no roadmap written in a room you weren’t in.

How it works

  1. 01

    Submit a suggestion

Anyone using AnnotateIX, trial included, can post what they need and describe the problem behind it.

  2. 02

    Upvote what matters

Every suggestion is public and every vote counts the same, whether it comes from a solo developer or an ML team.

  3. 03

    We build in vote order

The top of the board is what we are working on next. When something ships, it moves to Shipped and the next item comes up.

  • Undo and redo

A history stack across drawing, editing and deletion, so a misplaced drag is one keystroke to fix.

    In progress
  • Model-assisted pre-labelling

Run an existing model over a video to seed tracks, then correct them by hand.

    Next up
  • COCO and Pascal VOC export

Two more dataset formats alongside YOLO detect, segment and pose.

    Next up
  • Browser-hosted edition

The annotation UI is already a portable web component; run it without the Windows app.

    Under consideration
  • Multi-select objects

Move, relabel or delete several tracks at once instead of one at a time.

    Under consideration
  • Visibility gaps within a track

Let an object disappear behind an occluder and return, without splitting the track.

    Under consideration
  • Automatic constant-frame-rate proxy

Detect awkward codecs and variable frame rates on import and transcode without asking.

    Shipped

Voting requires a free account. Nothing on this board ships in v1.0.
